Many thanks to Dean, Mark, Annett and Linda for making the day happen and for all those that helped taking times and technique points as well as transport canoes.

How You’re Tracking
This was the second trial of the season and as such gives everyone the opportunity to see how their tracking.

As with all trials, some will be happy with how they went, some won’t. Some will immediately know why their result moved in the direction it did. Some will wonder what the hell went wrong. Others will even wonder what the hell went right!

One thing’s for sure is that there’ll be more trials to come and you’ll ultimately look back at this one as simply a stepping stone to your bigger goal.

With that in mind you will look back on Sunday’s trial as a success if you used it to take the biggest step forward possible regardless of the actual result.

One way to do this is to make a note of two things you did well on Sunday and two things you want to improve on. To get value from this you’ll need to be reminded of them before every training session. Post a note somewhere with your paddling gear such as tucked inside your paddle cover.

Linda and Billy are more than happy to discuss your points with you as well as how you’ve felt you’ve been tracking since the last trial. Using this we can help you set up your training plan for the next one.

Results
There is lots of info to enter so if you notice something wrong with your times or the technique points we’ve identified for you please let the coaches know. Alternate trial results have now been added.
