On Saturday 25 February, five Pacific Dragons crews descended on Rose Bay to compete in the AOCRA Sydney Harbour Challenge, for one of the biggest events in the racing calendar. Our PD Chicks were first up, racing hard in challenging conditions and against some formidable local, interstate and international crews for a gruelling 22klms. Our crews finished 13th (5th in the division) and 25th (7th in the division) out of 45 crews. Awesome job PD Chicks!

Our men also raced hard in a massive field of 61 crews, in even more challenging conditions due to the wind picking up in the afternoon. Our crews finished 19th (12th in the division), 51st (9th in the division), and unfortunately our third men’s crew didn’t make the time cut off point due to a huli in very tippy conditions. The men did an amazing job in very tough conditions and against some of the best crews in the sport. Can’t wait to do it all again next year!
