I’ve heard the 111km Hawkesbury Canoe Classic described many things but never a holiday. Alas in last weekend’s Sydney Morning Herald Travel Section a great two-page spread appeared on the Classic.
The lead photo stars Clairedy and an assortment of OC6s heading off for a night on the river.
Although it may not quite have been a holiday, it can’t have been too bad as Claire’s gearing up to do it all again, this time in a double kayak with her sister. The 2008 race kicks off on Saturday November 1.
