Whether you realise it or not we’ve all acted as leaders at some point in our lives…

It may not always have been in a dramatic ‘leader of the pack’ sense with dozens of people taking immediate action from your commands. Rather you may have simply encouraged a friend to try something new or helped them through a difficult personal problem. You may have been the first in a group to put your hand up to say I’ll do it. Your impact as a leader may even have happened over many years with your commitment and discipline to a cause inspiring others to achieve.

In addition we’ve all been led and coached. We know what we look for in such people and we know what inspires us.

In that sense you’re the perfect person to join the PD Outrigger Coaching Team!

Existing coaching experience is not necessarily required although it is by all means welcomed.

What’s at the heart of the 2009/10 Outrigger Coaching Team is an enthusiasm to learn all there is about making an outrigger canoe team fly across the ocean and a readiness to embrace new ideas through challenging existing outrigging paradigms.
