Good luck to past-life PD Steph Jaques and a mixed crew of outriggers from all around Australia who are setting off this weekend to cross Bass Strait in two outrigger canoes and a support boat.
Peter Corbishley, who was responsible for building some of the PD canoes, will also form part of the crew. He was diagnosed with a rare form of terminal skin cancer early last year. Peter is using the trip to raise awareness and show there is life after diagnosis. They are also raising money for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.
