Hi everyone!
As you all know, the Cockatoo Cup is one of the main annual paddling community events that we PDs organise each year, on Australia Day. The 2019 edition will be held on Saturday 26 January and is now open for registration!
The race is run in a handicap format – i.e. slowest start first and fastest start last – which means everyone has a chance at line honours, no matter what type of craft you paddle and where you are in your journey as a paddler. All types of craft are welcome, and the more variety the merrier!
There will be 2 courses offered, long (14kms) and short (7kms). SUP paddlers will be restricted to the 7km course.
The cost per paddler will be $30 for pre-registration, or $40 on the day. Insurance is covered if you are a PaddleNSW member. You can also sign up with PaddleNSW for $20 on the day.
