 Not sure about the claim, but something interesting is appearing in multiple sporting opening ceremonies wielding a large pole of some sort. In 1993 World Youth Soccer Cup lifting one leg of the oversized soccer ball in SFS, and in 2000 Olympics Opening lifting one petal of a waratah (tried my best to avoid Nikki Webster as she flew out of it).

Back in 1st yr Uni, a high school friend was interested in this girl. She has also had a high school friend who was part of a dragon boating club but needed an injection of new people otherwise it’ll fold. To help him out, a whole bunch of us joined the club so he could impress the girl. It worked & they are now married. |
