Dear community: the Pacific Dragons are hosting a come-try Open Day on the 17th and 24th of October – that’s the upcoming 2 Saturdays! Our experienced paddlers will be showing you how to paddle, complete a safety check before giving you the chance to paddle in a boat! The session will be in a dragon boat and run for about 90 minutes.
The session will start at 1 Bank Street, Pyrmont and the boat will be paddled around the rewwweloped Blackwattle Bay. Please use our driving directions tool to generate directions to this training site.
The session starts at 8:30am (please aim to arrive at 8:20am) and will end shortly after 10am. If you’re interested, please contact our recruitment co-ordinator to book your spot!
P.S. If you run late on the day, don’t worry – head across the bay to Bicentennial Park Glebe (otherwise known as Rozelle Park), and we’ll be there and provide opportunities to try paddling until 11am.
